1. Who we are
INTEL is a product of Wildbos, registered in the Netherlands (KVK 94765197). Contact: hello@wildbos.com.
2. What data we collect
Account data: Name, email address, company name, and job title — provided during signup.
Payment data: Processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing.
Location data (optional): If you enable the Weather card, your browser asks for permission to share your approximate location. We round coordinates to ~1 km accuracy (2 decimal places). Location is stored only in your browser (localStorage) and is never saved on our servers. You can disable this at any time via Preferences → Weather toggle, which also deletes the stored location.
Usage data: We log page views and feature usage to improve the product. No personal identifiers are attached to these logs.
Cookies: We use a single session cookie (intel_session) for authentication. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies.
3. Third-party services
To deliver your briefing and context cards, we send requests to the following services on your behalf:
Your approximate location (if enabled) is sent to Open-Meteo and Nominatim to fetch weather data. These services do not receive your name, email, or any other personal information.
4. How we use your data
We use your data exclusively to deliver and improve the INTEL service: generating daily briefings, sending notifications, and personalizing your experience. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data storage & security
Your data is stored on servers in the EU (Hetzner, Germany). All connections are encrypted via TLS. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized Wildbos personnel only.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:
• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data (portability)
• Object to or restrict processing
• Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@wildbos.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. After cancellation, we delete your personal data within 90 days, unless we are legally required to keep it longer. Anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
